A blue that evokes the Mediterranean at noon, June irises, the sky just before a storm. Worn in a total monochrome, it transforms this sweater into a strong and assertive chromatic statement, where all attention focuses on the richness of the stitch and the beauty of the work.

Entirely handmade with crochet in my French workshop, Muscari is a short-sleeved sweater made of pure cotton. The construction is remarkable: filet crochet squares — a traditional motif revisited with contemporary precision — assemble in a checkerboard pattern to form the body of the sweater. The openwork stitches create subtle transparency effects, hinting at the skin without ever fully revealing it. At the bottom, a scalloped shell border finishes the piece with the elegance of a lacemaker. The wide, soft boat neckline naturally exposes the shoulders.

Muscari can be worn with white jeans or cream trousers for a striking contrast, or with navy blue for a daring total look. It slips under a light jacket for cool evenings. It travels well, washes by hand at 30°, dries flat, and retains its color and shape.
