Handmade crochet short-sleeved sweater Bel été

Some sweaters carry an entire season in their stitches. Bel Été is one of them.

Ecru openwork background, light as a breath — and on this background, two multicolored borders frame the piece with frank and assumed joy.
At the top, near the generous boat neckline, a frieze of embossed shell motifs explodes with colors: bright blue, fuchsia pink, sunny yellow, emerald green, deep burgundy.
The same frieze is repeated at the bottom of the sweater, creating a mirror effect that gives the piece its balance and character. Between the two, the body opens into geometric openwork stitches — diamond shapes of light that let the skin breathe and play with transparency.

Entirely handmade in crochet in my French workshop, Bel Été is a short-sleeved sweater made of pure cotton. The cut is loose and relaxed, with short dropped sleeves that naturally adorn the shoulder. The wide and soft boat neckline gracefully reveals the neck and collarbones.

Bel Été can be worn with white jeans, linen shorts, or fluid trousers. It goes from the beach to the city, from the market to lunch on the terrace, without ever losing its allure. It travels well, washes by hand at 30°, dries flat, and regains its shape every time.
