Some sweaters evoke a place even before we know why.
Piazza is an Italian square on a summer evening: the warmth rising from the cobblestones, the mingling voices, the blushing light.

A deep, warm coral, between pink and red, that catches the light and brightens the complexion. A color for holidays, for freedom, for simple and unashamed joy. Worn in total monochrome with white jeans or cream trousers, it asserts itself with disarming obviousness.

Entirely handmade with crochet in my French workshop, Piazza is a 3/4 sleeve sweater made of pure cotton. The openwork mesh stitch — large, regular squares repeated over the entire surface — creates a generous and light transparency, almost architectural in its rigor.
The cut is loose and fluid, with flared 3/4 sleeves that fall gracefully and cover the arm to the elbow. The wide, soft boat neck elegantly reveals the shoulders and collarbones.

Piazza can be worn over a camisole or bodysuit in a matching or contrasting color — the play of transparency is part of the look. It goes from the beach to the city, from the market to the restaurant, without ever losing its allure. It travels well, can be hand-washed at 30°, dried flat, and regains its shape and color every time.
