Some sweaters whisper. Roucoulou is one of them.

Horizontal stripes in a pastel gradient — soft lavender, mint green, powder pink, sky blue, pearly cream, touches of gold — flowing with a watercolor fluidity, as if the colors were hand-painted onto the fabric. A dream palette, delicate and luminous, evoking spring skies and blossoming gardens. Nothing aggressive, nothing excessive — just beauty in its purest form.

Entirely handmade using crochet in my French workshop, Roucoulou is a turtleneck sweater with long puff sleeves, made from an acrylic and mohair blend. The soft, enveloping turtleneck gently frames the face. The voluminous, generous balloon sleeves narrow slightly at the wrists for a romantic and structured effect. The cut is short and boxy — designed to be worn with high-waisted bottoms to naturally elongate the silhouette.

The openwork wave stitch creates a permanent sense of movement on the piece — the material seems alive, constantly shimmering. The mohair adds that luminous halo and incomparable lightness that makes Roucoulou so special to wear.

Roucoulou can be worn with white trousers, high-waisted jeans, or a flowing midi skirt. It is the soft centerpiece of a strong look. It should be hand-washed at 30°, dried flat, and will retain its colors and shape.
