Handmade Coral Lantana Crochet Women's Sweater
Some sweaters tell a story before you even touch them. Lantana is one of them.
Granny squares assembled with rare precision and generosity — cream and sand background, coral, burnt orange, powder pink flowers, touches of sage green — strung together in a warm and luminous patchwork, both folk and sophisticated. A traditional construction revisited with a designer's eye: each square is a composition in itself, and the whole forms a coherent and enchanting textile work.
Entirely handmade using crochet in my French workshop, Lantana is a long-sleeved, puffed turtleneck sweater made from an acrylic and mohair blend. The turtleneck, loose and soft, can be worn straight or slightly folded down depending on your mood. The voluminous and dramatic balloon sleeves gather at the wrists with coral ribbed cuffs — a couture detail that defines the piece. The cut is generous and enveloping, designed for absolute comfort on cool days.
Mohair provides that luminous halo and incomparable softness to the touch. The material is light despite its volume — you feel enveloped without being weighed down.
Lantana can be worn with beige or camel jeans, wide-leg trousers, or a long skirt. It needs nothing else — it is the look. It should be hand washed at 30°, dried flat, and will retain its shape and colors.
A sculptural, artisanal, unforgettable piece. A Cachalabibi piece.
