Some sweaters are like a painting. Isatis is one of them.

Multicolored horizontal stripes that blend into each other with an impressionistic softness — sun yellow, powder pink, sky blue, vivid red, sage green, cream, coral — worn in an acrylic and mohair blend that gives each band a luminous lightness and a delicate halo. The mohair catches the light, softens the contours, transforms each color into something almost immaterial. It's a sweater that changes with the time and lighting — and is unlike anything else.

Entirely handmade with crochet in my French workshop, Isatis is a long-sleeved turtleneck sweater in an acrylic and mohair blend. The generous and flexible turtleneck frames the face with warmth without ever stifling. The long sleeves fall naturally. The cut is loose and enveloping — designed to be worn over slim jeans, high-waisted pants, a midi skirt — and to provide warmth without heaviness.

The openwork stitch allows air to circulate while giving lightness to the whole. The mohair brings that characteristic blur that makes the piece so special to the touch and to the eye — soft, airy, precious.

Isatis can be hand-washed at 30°, dries flat, and retains its shape and colors season after season.
