Smeraldo — The creation
Smeraldo. Italian for emerald.
But it’s not the green of an emerald — it’s the turquoise of the sea.
The turquoise of Smeraldo is the color of water at its best — that exact shade the Mediterranean takes on a clear day, when the bottom is white sand and light passes unobstructed through the water.
A color that doesn't truly exist in terrestrial nature, belonging to the interface between earth and sky, between blue and green, between depth and surface.
Smeraldo's construction is a conversation between densities. The elegant V-neckline adorned with a small decorative bow — an inviting opening that draws the eye, adding a precise touch of whimsy.
The bust in tight stitch — a density that structures, supports, and gives the piece its central architecture.
The openwork grid-stitch waistband — a light transition that defines the waist, creating a visual rhythm between dense and transparent.
And in the back, the adjustable corset lacing — a calculated precision that reveals the skin, shapes the silhouette, and transforms the back into a composition in itself.
The halter straps tie at the nape of the neck with that casual elegance characteristic of the most confident pieces.
The scalloped fan border adorning the bottom and neckline signs the creation with that delicate precision which is the atelier's signature — a recurring detail that unifies, signaling that every inch has been thoughtfully considered.
Smeraldo is worn with white jeans for clear contrast, with ecru trousers for a harmony of Mediterranean tones, with a long black skirt for maximum intensity.
Smeraldo, and you are carried by the waves of a turquoise ocean.
