The Art of the Crocheted Shawl and Scarf

The art of the handmade crocheted shawl and scarf

My crocheted shawls and scarves are much more than simple accessories: they are enveloping pieces that bring warmth, elegance, and character to your outfit. From the ample and airy shawl to the cozy winter scarf, each creation tells a story of craftsmanship and authenticity.

Shawls: The epitome of bohemian elegance

Crocheted shawls: the epitome of bohemian elegance and the embodiment of freedom and femininity of an assertive bohemian style.

Crocheted shawls embody the freedom and femininity of an assertive bohemian style. Ample and flowing, they drape gracefully over the shoulders, instantly creating an elegant silhouette.

I create openwork shawls for warmer days, light as lace, perfect for summer evenings. Other more structured designs offer warmth and comfort for mid-seasons and can even replace a light jacket.

Each shawl requires between 30 and 80 hours of work, depending on its size and the complexity of its patterns. Fringe finishes or elaborate borders add that artisanal touch that makes all the difference.

Scarves: Everyday softness and warmth

Handmade crocheted scarves of several styles around women's necks: softness and warmth daily

My crocheted scarves are designed to accompany you throughout the winter.
I select soft and warm yarns, sometimes blended with alpaca or merino wool, for optimal comfort.

Some scarves are long and enveloping, perfect for wrapping several times around the neck. Others, shorter and more structured, tie elegantly and add a touch of color and texture to your winter coat.

Unlike industrial scarves, my crocheted creations have body and hold. They do not sag, maintaining their shape and beauty season after season.

Meticulous artisanal craftsmanship

Each shawl and each scarf is entirely handmade with crochet in my workshop in France

Each shawl and each scarf is entirely handmade in my workshop in France. I carefully choose the yarns according to the intended use: light and airy for summer shawls, soft and warm for winter scarves.

The patterns are designed to create movement and texture. Some play with openwork stitches that let light through, others with reliefs and cables that add depth.

How to wear your shawls and scarves

How to wear your handmade crocheted shawls and scarves around the neck

The light shawl: draped over the shoulders with a summer dress, tied at the waist over jeans, or worn as a stole for an evening event.

The structured shawl: as an alternative to a light jacket in spring or autumn, over a fine sweater or a t-shirt.

The long scarf: wrapped multiple times for maximum warmth, or worn loose for a casual style.

The short scarf: elegantly tied over a coat, or tucked into a jacket for a pop of color.

Timeless pieces

A handmade crocheted shawl or scarf transcends trends.
These pieces become faithful companions in your wardrobe, which you gladly rediscover season after season and can even be passed down.
