Cesaria — The creation

Cesaria. The name of the barefoot diva.
The one who sang of saudade without ever leaving her island.

Saudade is that untranslatable feeling—the nostalgia for something one may never have had, the sweet melancholy of a happiness that exists somewhere, the certainty that beauty is real even when it is absent.
The Cesaria embodies this emotion in its construction: colors that evoke celebration, transparency that evokes softness, an architecture that says bohemian can be precise.

The granny squares—fuchsia pink, green, soft pink, yellow—come together on the bust with a geometric precision that transforms the oldest crochet technique into something decidedly contemporary.
Each square is a piece in itself, crocheted separately, assembled with intention. The palette is not random: these colors respond to each other, enhance each other, together creating a harmony that vibrates without ever shouting.

Below the squares, the openwork off-white creates an airy lace—that calculated transparency that lets light pass through, that creates continuity between the thread and the skin, that gives the piece its sensual dimension.

The wide-open back, the crossed straps that tie low, the two ties at the waist that adjust and close—each detail is a style decision that becomes poetic.

Cesaria can be worn with white trousers for the clarity of contrast, with a flowing ecru skirt for the absolute bohemian spirit, with black jeans for evening intensity.

Cesaria, for those who know that nostalgia is not a weakness—but a way of being in the world.
