Caramello — The Creation

Caramello. Italian for caramel. The color that tastes like something.

Caramel is a skin tone—warm, golden, embracing.
There is something immediately sensual about caramel, something that evokes the warmth of the sun on skin, honey, amber, precious materials.
The Caramello embodies all of this—effortlessly, unpretentiously.

The openwork grid stitch constructs the piece with precise geometric rigor—each square of the net a decision, each open stitch a breath.
On the golden caramel of the Caramello, transparency takes on a particularly sensual dimension: the color blends with the skin, creating areas of continuity between the yarn and the body, blurring the boundary between the garment and the wearer.

The V-neckline with its small frontal lacing adds that unexpected detail that distinguishes the piece—this lace that tightens, adjusts, adds a playful dimension to the neckline.

The thin straps crossed in the back draw precise lines on the skin, revealing without covering.

The adjustable corset lacing at the waist in the lower back modulates the silhouette with that calculated precision that transforms the back into a composition in its own right.

The scalloped shell border at the bottom completes the creation with that precise softness which is the signature of the workshop.

Caramello is worn with white jeans for the clarity of contrast, with ivory trousers for the harmony of warm tones, with a long black skirt for maximum intensity.

Caramello for the woman who knows that colors close to the skin are the boldest.

Entirely hand-crocheted in my French workshop.
