Tiaré — The creation
The Tiare is the sacred flower of Polynesia. White, with five or six petals, of absolute purity, it is worn behind the ear as a message — on the left to say that the heart is taken, on the right to say that it is free.
Wherever it appears, it brings with it the scent of the island, the warmth of the sun on the skin, the lightness of those who know how to live.
Tiaré was born from this flower — and everything it represents.
The base is of absolute transparency: the bright white, highly open square fishnet stitch unfolds its network of open squares on both pieces, crop top and long skirt, like a veil of structured light.
Against this immaculate background, flowers emerge.
On the crop top, a large orange relief flower stands out on the front — a unique presence, a visual signature, the heart of the piece.
The round neck and cap sleeves are edged with fuchsia pink, a color that reappears as a common thread.
The rainbow band in fan stitch at the bottom — turquoise, orange, yellow, green, red, fuchsia pink — is a celebration in itself.
And in the back, the fuchsia pink cord lacing from the collar to the waist transforms what is not seen into what is most noticed.
On the long skirt, the large multicolored relief flowers are scattered asymmetrically — turquoise, fuchsia pink, red, apple green, orange — as if they had grown there, naturally, without a preconceived plan.
The white cord belt with pompoms and a turquoise tassel finishes the ensemble with that touch of controlled fantasy that is the hallmark of Cachalabibi.
Tiaré is worn like an island that you carry with you.
In summer with golden sandals or white flat sandals. In the evening with golden jewelry and a high bun.
It is the piece you wear when you want the day to be beautiful.
