Rosabella — The creation
And pink, it bloomed to offer you this sweater.
Rosabella. The beautiful rose — this Italian name that carries both the flower and the color, softness and radiance. A name of celebration, a name of joy.
Rosabella is constructed in two languages of the granny square — this ancestral crochet motif, reinterpreted here in two distinct registers that converse with perfect precision.
At the top, the yoke and balloon sleeves in very dense multicolored granny stitch. Violet, fuchsia pink, turquoise, mustard yellow, mint green — five colors that chain together in the granny squares with absolute generosity. Each square is a composition in itself, each junction between the squares is a line of color.
The whole forms a textile mosaic of remarkable richness and complexity.
The balloon sleeves amplify the volume, create movement, give Rosabella its festive and assertive character.
Below, the body in pure fuchsia pink granny stitch — a single color, but a density and relief that change everything. The squares are worked tightly, with great relief, creating an almost sculptural texture.
The fuchsia pink is intense, saturated, without nuance — it is a color that asserts itself. Against the multicolored complexity of the yoke, this structured monochrome creates a perfect balance.
The lower band in fuchsia pink ribbing anchors the piece with precision. Dense, tight, it marks the base and creates a clear horizontal line that closes the composition.
The round neck is simple and generous — it gives full prominence to the multicolored yoke.
The cut is cropped and fitted — short, stopping at the waist, showing the belly or grazing the top of the pants. It's a cut that assumes, that asserts, that says Rosabella is a piece for Women who are not afraid of color.
