Ondenova — The Creation
The wave is nature's fundamental movement.
Water rippling in the wind. Sound propagating through the air.
Light traveling in waves from the sun. Wherever nature seeks to move, transmit, or spread—it chooses the wave.
Because the wave does not force. It bypasses, adapts, and advances by conforming to what it encounters.
Ondenova — the new wave — was born from this idea.
The construction unfolds in two distinct and complementary registers.
The wide waistband in a sand beige hexagonal net stitch with a red pompom drawstring sets the frame — neutral, structured, anchored.
Then the body comes to life: the very dense granny square/wavy chevron stitch weaves a descending chromatic sequence of absolute dynamism — lime green, fuchsia pink, sun yellow, sky blue, vivid red.
Each band forms interlocking waves, creating a ripple effect that moves with the wearer.
The sand beige scalloped border at the bottom closes the composition, echoing the waistband — what began in neutrality ends in neutrality, and in between, all the colors of the world.
The cut is straight, slightly flared, mid-thigh 54 cm.
It can be worn with a sand beige top to let the waves speak for themselves, or with a vivid red top to extend the energy of the last band.
In summer with espadrilles, in the evening with golden mules — Ondenova is timeless.
