This piece does exactly that: it offers a view, it organizes color with surprising clarity and generosity.
The principle of Montebello is the fan.
Not stripes, not squares, not regular geometric patterns — the fan, that shape that opens from a single point to a generous width, conveying both precision and freedom.
Groups of fan stitches interlock in horizontal rows across the entire body, each fan in its own color: off-white, vivid blue, soft pink, apple green, turquoise, fuchsia, sand beige.
No imposed chromatic logic — each fan chooses its color, and the whole creates a lively and joyful checkerboard unlike anything else.
The photos show it with absolute clarity: worn by different Women, in different postures — standing, sitting, from the back, in profile — Montebello remains itself and adapts to each one.
This is the hallmark of truly well-constructed pieces: they don't try to impose a silhouette; they reveal the one that is already there.
The sleeves are Montebello's boldest decision.
In large mesh filet stitch — open, transparent, almost immaterial squares — they contrast radically with the ornamental density of the body.
And they are not symmetrical: vivid blue on one side, apple green on the other. A deliberate asymmetry, a decision that says perfection is not in symmetry but in balance.
The scalloped cuffs echo the body's colors with absolute coherence and whimsy.
The apple green scalloped hem runs along the entire bottom of the piece — a clear, luminous line of color that anchors the piece and creates a crisp punctuation.
The wide, slightly drooping round neckline in off-white frames the shoulders with natural casualness and grace.
