Mezzanotte — The Creation
Mezzanotte — midnight in Italian.
The hour when day turns into night, when city lights reflect on the water, when everything becomes more intense and mysterious.
And yet, this dress is white.
White as the moon at its zenith.
White as the stars piercing the darkness.
White as those suns radiating on the immaculate background — because at night, if you look closely, it's full of light.
Mezzanotte was born from this paradox.
The construction is based on absolute duality.
The background of immaculate white square large-mesh openwork net stitch unfurls its network of open squares across the entire dress — transparent, geometric, precise, like a starry sky seen through a prism.
Against this background of structured light, large fan/sun stitch medallions emerge with an architectural presence: one in the center of the bust, two symmetrical on the hips, one partial at the bottom.
Each medallion radiates from a dense circular center — the rays shoot outwards in a perfect centrifugal motion, creating a very graphic, very architectural, very strong sun effect.
These are not ornaments.
They are suns. And they shine on the white net like stars in the night.
The slightly plunging V-neck with picot edging and the wide, tightly-stitched straps with picot edges frame the silhouette with sober elegance. The very fitted cut shows that this dress understands the body it adorns.
Mezzanotte can be worn over a white swimsuit for total transparency, or over a nude bikini for suggestion.
With silver sandals for night, golden mules for sunset.
Mezzanotte is the dress for all magical hours.
