Laquenette — Creation
There is something universal and timeless in the geometry of the star. The six-pointed star — the perfect hexagon that nature itself chose for beehives, for snowflakes, for the basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway — is the shape that optimizes space without ever wasting it. Each branch calls to the next.
Each star interlocks with its neighbor. Together, they form a flawless whole, without void, without compromise.
Laquenette was born from this logic — and from the color that carries it beyond geometry.
The very dense, large-mesh, vivid emerald green star/flower stitch weaves a network where each 6-8 pointed star interlocks with the next with absolute regularity.
The relief is striking — one sees the construction, one feels the gesture, one can guess the hours. The color, meanwhile, is bold and unequivocal: vivid emerald green, that of deep forests and precious stones, that which does not seek to please everyone but knows exactly who it is speaking to.
The wide ribbed waistband in vivid green with a drawstring tied in a knot at the front structures the waist with precision.
The two square patch pockets with natural wood buttons are the signature detail — that small artisanal touch that says nothing has been forgotten, that everything has been thought through to the end.
The cut is straight, slightly flared, mini 44 cm.
It can be worn with bare legs in summer, with opaque tights in mid-season, with ankle boots or flat sandals.
A skirt that is not afraid of the light.
Entirely hand-crocheted in my French workshop.
