Franginou — The creation

There's a particular freedom in being on the fringe.
Not at the center, not in the noise — but not absent either. On the edge. Where you see everything without being seen, where you can observe the world with that gentle detachment that allows you to truly appreciate it, to detach yourself just enough to no longer be its prisoner.

Franginou was born from this posture.
This slight step aside that changes everything.

The body of the piece is made of vertical off-white filet stitch — columns of elongated, entirely openwork, almost transparent stitches, allowing the skin to show through as if under a veil. The round halter neck, with its thin straps tied at the nape, creates a clean line at the front. At the back, the straps cross — an architectural detail that elegantly reveals the back.

Then comes the fringe.
The tight turquoise stitch waistband accentuates the waist with precision — and from there springs a long, dense, vibrant turquoise fringe, creating a spectacular peplum effect. With every movement, it dances.
With every step, it sways. The fringe is not an ornament — it is the heart of the piece, its raison d'être, that detail that ensures you don't go unnoticed even when silently observing from the fringe of the world.

Franginou is worn over a swimsuit or a bodysuit — and you let the fringes speak.
