Coral — The Creation
You have to go down.
Leave the surface behind, the noise of the world, the direct sunlight. Descend into the blue waters of the Maldives, where light diffracts and colors change their nature.
And there, in that aquatic silence, glimpse the coral — that color that truly only exists underwater, that deep and vibrant pink, between salmon and peach, which seems to emit its own light.
Corallo was born from that memory.
From that dive, that color, that moment suspended between two waters.
The construction plays on alternation — like the currents that follow one another, like the areas of shadow and light beneath the surface. Horizontal bands respond to each other: the large oval openwork stitch, airy and transparent like the water itself, lets light and skin show through. T
hen the tight, dense and structuring stitch takes over — opaque, solid, anchored. These two registers alternate regularly, creating a fabric that breathes, that ripples slightly, that lives.
All in a uniform and luminous coral/salmon peach — a single color, from the neckline to the wide straps in a tight stitch down to the hem.
The cut is fitted, precise, embracing the silhouette without constraining it. Round neckline slightly flared in front and back — symmetrical, balanced.
One single color — and everything else disappears.
