Caramella — The Creation
There are candies you don't bite into.
You place them on your tongue, let them melt slowly, savoring the sweetness for as long as possible—until nothing remains, and you crave another.
Caramella was born from this very gesture, this patient indulgence, this childhood memory we hold onto without knowing why.
Its construction is based on granny squares—those small crocheted squares that grandmothers once assembled to make blankets, and which Caramella reinterprets in monochrome caramel gold, warm honey, dense and precise.
Each square is worked individually, then hand-assembled to form a tight grid that conforms to the silhouette. It's not a continuous stitch—it's a mosaic. Each square is a unit, and the whole is a work of art.
The Bardot neckline opens onto the shoulders with that calculated nonchalance that is the hallmark of truly elegant pieces.
A delicate caramel crocheted spaghetti strap holds it all together—a tiny architectural detail that reveals a shoulder with surgical precision.
The short sleeves fall freely, off-shoulder.
The lower band in square fishnet stitch slightly lightens the bottom of the piece, like a final breath.
A bare shoulder—and everything is said.
