Aldentissimo — The Creation

There's an Italian expression for something that has just the right consistency, the right resistance, the perfect balance between firmness and suppleness.
Al dente — neither overcooked, nor undercooked.
It's a concept that applies to pasta, of course, but also to anything that requires precision in execution, care in the gesture, attention to detail.
A hand-crocheted piece is also al dente — each stitch has the exact right tension, neither too tight, nor too loose.

Aldentissimo — the absolute superlative of that precision.

The vertical ribbed eyelet stitch unfurls its columns of stitches in a dazzling sun yellow — a yellow that doesn't try to be subtle, that embraces its luminosity, that speaks of summer with absolute frankness.

The vertical ribs create a natural lengthening effect, a geometry that guides the eye upwards and downwards simultaneously, giving the silhouette that particular lightness of well-constructed pieces.

The straps tied on the shoulders create decorative knots that are both functional and ornamental — they adjust, they hold, they embellish.

The adjustable waist tie allows the silhouette to be modulated according to the mood of the day — tied tight to emphasize the waist, left looser for summery nonchalance.

Aldentissimo can be worn over a nude bodysuit for assumed transparency, over white jeans for solar chromatic coherence.
With gold sandals for a Mediterranean glow, natural espadrilles for lightness.

Aldentissimo is the piece of perfect yellow, the one with exactly the right intensity.
